Better support is on the way for children with special needs thanks to a fresh 3 year, 30 million dollar investment by the province.
The funding is part of the Early Learning and Child Care agreement with the Federal Government, and will make more inclusive care more easily accessible.
More than 1 thousand children province-wide are expected to benefit from the program, which will reduce wait times for inclusive care, make education and training for child care staff more accessible, and connect families with other resources.
Parents of children with extra support needs may also qualify for up to 1,250 dollars a month under the Affordable Child Care Benefit.
