The provincial government is injecting more cash in to leadership development among students.
Announced this morning, the new program will dee developmental funding for aspring leadership programs increase from 200 thousand to 600 thousand next year, and 800 thousand by 2020.
The funding will go towards: training and mentoring new school and district leaders, increasing financial training for leaders, additional support for Indigenous leaders, managing training, and recruitment.
