Construction is slated to begin on 36 new affordable supportive housing units in Prince Rupert.
The units are intended to ease the burdens of homelessness so that residents can focus on improving other areas of their lives.
Around the clock support services, as well as meal programs, skills training, and health and wellness services will be available thanks to the North Coast Transition Society.
Preparation is underway at the 1450 Park Avenue site, with a move-in date projected for early 2019.
