A first of its kind Statement of Collaboration agreement has been signed between the Nisga’a Lisims Government and the Northern British Columbia Tourism Association.
Indigenous Tourism BC made the announcement of the joint agreement, which aims to improve tourism experiences, this morning.
The joint agreement lays out a framework of initiatives that will support the development of Indigenous tourism experiences in the Nass Valley, and across the four Nisga’a villages.
Signed in Prince George yesterday at the Northern BC Tourism Summit, the agreement makes sure to recognize and align with the Nisga’a’s shared interests and values.
