The municipal labour dispute at Kitimat seems to have no end in sight.
Martin McIlwrath, spokesperson for Unifor Local 2300, says negotiations are at a standstill.
He said the District walked away from the bargaining table on Saturday.
McIlwrath says the District isn’t willing to negotiate in good faith.
He says while mayor and council, and the administrators say they agree with the union on many broad issues, opinions diverge significantly when it comes to the details.
