A number of northern B.C. airports will see improvements with the help of over $5.3 million in provincial government grants.
The B.C. Air Access Program (BCAAP) helps make safety and capacity upgrades at regional airports that would otherwise be too costly.
Anahim Lake will get a fuel system reconfiguration, Bella Coola will use money for Phase 2 – certification and obstacle removal, Dease Lake will do brush cutting and installation of washroom facilities.
Quesnel will receive runway lighting replacement, Stewart will get runway rehabilitation, and Telegraph Creek will use the money for runway rehabilitation, GPS, and lighting.
