According to the Northern Real Estate Board’s third quarter report, Prince George, Terrace, and Fort St John are the most expensive places in northern BC to buy a home.
For the third year in a row, Fort St John closes the third quarter as the most expensive with an average residential home selling price of over 367 thousand dollars.
Prince George was a close second at 354 thousand, while Terrace nabbed third place at just under 328 thousand.
Smithers and 100 Mile House join the three as the only communities in the north with an average residential home selling price over 300 thousand dollars.
Fort Nelson registered as the cheapest place in the north to purchase a home at just over 114 thousand dollars.
