A group of northwest B.C. communities has launched a new set of online investment tools to support business development.
The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine, New Hazelton, Stewart, and Hazelton hope the investment portals will help interested parties understand the business climate and opportunities as well as showcase the region.
Regional District Chair Phil Germuth says the online presence is another set of tools to help attract and retain new ventures and assist current businesses, especially as economic activity ramps up with the LNG Canada project approval.
The investment tools cover topics such as local business climate, industry trends, labour force and education.
Terrace and Prince Rupert have had an online economic development presence for some time.
