Just 6 months after completing major renovations to their check-in and departure areas, the Northwest Regional Airport has their eyes on further improvements.
With the airport already seeing increased traffic, and LNG’s arrival only looking to add to that, the airport is looking to add more room for passengers.
Phase 2 of their project will see the airport seek out bids from architects to expand their arrival area, add a second luggage belt, repave the taxiway, and expand the wahsrooms and restaurant areas.
A submission date of February 1st, 2019 has been set for interested architectural firms to send in bids, while a decision is expected in mid-March.
