The BC Wildfire Service is urging people to be very cautious while doing any burning outside in the Cariboo Fire Centre area.
While there are currently no fire use prohibitions in place for the area, officials say there could be significant fire risks due to dry grass and shrubs.
Anyone wishing to light an open fire must watch for changing weather conditions and follow all burning regulations to help reduce the risk of wildfires.
A list of any current wildfires can be found here.
