One person has died and four others were injured after a small plane crashed 120km southwest of Vanderhoof.
RCMP Corporal Dan Moskaluk says it happened Monday morning shortly after take off and was called in by one of the survivors.
Search and rescue crews found the plane in the Moose Lake and the NuGold Mine area.
Moskaluk says three of the survivors have been flown to hospital in Kamloops.
One was flown to the Lower Mainland in serious condition.
The RCMP along with BC Coroners Service and the Transportation Safety Board continue to investigate the crash.
