A float plane crash near Lilloet yesterday afternoon has resulted in two deaths and left another person in hospital.
The crash occurred in Tyaughton Lake in Gold Bridge, roughly 100 kms west of Lilloet.
Multiple local boats attended the incident in an attempt to rescue those involved following the incident.
Police arrived on scene to find one occupant, a 20 year-old Prince George man, already deceased, another occupant, a 20 year-old from Williams Lake, was discovered with non-life threatening injuries and taken to hospital.
A third occupant was missing when crews arrived and a search was launched to find them.
The body of the deceased third man was later discovered by the underwater recovery team.
