These are some of the stories/ emails we receive from our dedicated listeners.
Just a quick note to say how much I enjoy your station – the personalities AND the music! My job brought me to the Terrace/Kitimat area back in 2014 where I began listening to CFNR. I have been half way around the world since then and currently settled on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, but I STILL listen to CFNR through TuneIn several days a week. The music is awesome, the area was beautiful beyond description, and the people were incredibly gracious, humble and hospitable – I still have some treasured friendships in Kitimat! I wish you continued success, as a station and community, and hope to return one day! Rock On, CFNR!! – Chuck
My sister and I are 50+. She lives in Parksville, I am back in Quesnel starting my third (fourth? fifth?) new life. A few weeks ago, a coworker told me about CFNR and the repeater in Red Bluff. I have been listening since then. Sister was visiting last weekend – she loved it. Requested it all weekend. Couple of Cariboo girls who love, love, love the CFNR programming. Keep it up, people! And thank you!
Cfnr rocks my socks! Love the Sunday Morning Grafitti show makes my drive to work so much better – John Amos
When the earthquake happened here in 2012, CFNR was the only station that kept me and my family up to date with critical evacuation information. For keeping us informed and safe in such a difficult and scary situation, I will be forever grateful. Thank you for being a fantastic station that cares about even the most remote of listeners! – Melissa Irene Tyler
Just having moved here recently from Vancouver Island, CFNR has made the big transition sooooo much easier…I listen to you guys daily 🙂 Cheers and Thanks! – Mike Toole
