A man arrested following the armed robbery of a Prince George bank on August 11th has now been formally charged.
Jonathan Beaver Tattersall, a 31 year old man from Smithers, has now been charged with robbery with an imitation weapon, two counts of uttering threats, commit an indictable offence while masked, and two counts of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on August 19th.
Tattersall was arrested after fleeing from a TD Bank he had just robbed on O’Grady Road in Prince George.
Later in the afternoon, he was located and arrested.
An airsoft pistol, vehicle and other evidence was seized.
Police say he has no prior police history.
