The pilot of a seaplane that went down last Friday has been released from hospital in Prince Rupert.
The pilot was released this past Saturday after his plane went down on Friday morning near Ecstall river. The pilot was the only person on board and was air lifted to Rupert hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No name has been released nor details of what led to the seaplane going down, but the transportation safety board is now involved and working to determine if a full investigation is warranted.
The plane is part of the ocean pacific air service fleet.
