Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing person that has not been heard from since July 18th.

On Sunday July 19, 2015 at 11:00pm, the Prince George RCMP received a report of a missing person, Christopher Iean Banks.

Banks is a 36 year old resident of Prince George.

He was last reported to be driving to a remote area at approximately 11:00pm on Saturday July 18th.

He was heading to a celebration at the Woodcock Lake Recreation Area, southwest of Prince George.

He never arrived, and was believed to have been driving a gold Chrysler PT Cruiser with B.C. licence plate AF3 42C.

RCMP requested assistance from Emergency Management B.C.

The Prince George Search and Rescue Society, Nechako Valley Search & Rescue Society, Quesnel Search and Rescue Society and a search airplane were used to conduct ground and air searches throughout the day today.

No signs of Banks or his vehicle were located.

This is out of character for Banks and police don’t believe foul play is involved at this time.

Banks is described as:

  • Caucasian male
  • 180 cm (5’11”)
  • 66 kg (145 lbs)
  • Blue eyes
  • Short brown hair

If you have any information about Christopher Iean Banks, where he might be or where his vehicle might be, please contact the Prince George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
