A Terrace woman was sexually assaulted and robbed at knifepoint in a home invasion on Monday, January 30th in the early morning hours.

According to police, at around 4:30 a.m., a woman woke up with a man in her bedroom in her residence on the 4400 block of Park Avenue. The man had a knife and demanded money, and then sexually assaulted the woman.

A bank card stolen from the woman was used at the Terrace Credit Union shortly after.

Terrace General Duty members, General Investigation Section, Police Dog Service, and the Terrace and Prince Rupert’s Forensic Identification Section have put their full resources on this investigation.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in this investigation. The images are of a young man wearing a black jacket with red detail and a dark colored hat with FOX on the front.

They’re also asking for members of the public who were in the area of the 4400 block of Park Avenue or the Terrace Credit Union in the early morning to contact them.
