The Port of Prince Rupert is welcoming some heavy duty power to their fleet.
The port’s Michael Gurney says three new cranes arrived over the weekend and will help the port improve their efficiency.
He says it helps them compete with other ports along the west coast.
Gurney says the cranes will be fully operational in about a month.
The cranes are part of Phase Two of the Fairview Container Terminal Expansion that’s expected to be completed later this year.
