RCMP have more information about a man missing on a cycling trip between northwestern B.C. and Vancouver Island.
Investigators believe they have a confirmed sighting of Sean David Kuntz at the South Cariboo Visitor Centre in 100 Mile House June 14.
That’s the day after Kuntz last contacted his mother by text advising her that he was between Quesnel and Williams Lake.
Kuntz set out from Smithers on his bike June 9th and had planned to visit his mother in Saanich, but he has not been heard from since June 13th.
His cousin Tim Pearson describes Kuntz as an avid outdoorsman who is very fit and has plenty of multi-day backcountry trips under his belt.
Anyone who may have seen Sean Kuntz along his route or know where he might be is asked to contact the RCMP.
