After nearly a year of negotiations, a strike could be on the way for postal workers across Canada.
Nearly 95 percent of mail carriers across the country have voted in favour of a strike should they be unable to work out a deal with Canada Post.
Canada Post has failed to reach an agreement with either the rural and suburban letter carriers union, or the urban postal operations unit since their collective agreements expired in November of last year and January of this year, respectively.
The two unions represent around 50 thousand employees.
A strike could reportedly happen as early as late September.
