BC Premier John Horgan and Opposition Leader Andrew Wilkinson are set to square off in a head-to-head debate regarding electoral reform.
Wilkinson originally challenged the Premier back on September 24th, saying he needed to defend his government’s decision to issue the upcoming referendum.
According to Wilkinson, the referendum has been flawed from the start, and Horgan is only trying to change the system to maintain power.
Now that the ballots are out, Horgan, who is a supporter of proportional representation, has accepted Wilkinson’s challenge.
The debate will take place at 7:30 on November 8th.
