Prince George Mounties investigate thieves targeting liquor stores

Mounties are looking for suspects targeting liquor stores in Prince George.

Police are looking to see if these two suspects are responsible for liquor store robberies. (Prince George RCMP)

RCMP say the most recent one happened Monday around 1:30 a.m on Cowart Road.

Police say the thieves stoles a few hundred dollars worth of liquor and caused $150,000 in damage.

The suspects are believed to be men and are both wearing hoodies and masks. One hoodie is dark, possibly black, with an Adidas logo on the chest. The other hoodie is much lighter, possibly yellow.

Police are also investigating break and enters that could be related to Monday’s robbery. The first happened last Tuesday on Monterey Road around 7 a.m. where they used a vehicle to get access to the store.

The second happened on March 19th on Highway 97 near Northwood Pulpmill Road around 4:30 in the morning. Officers found a window was broken and a small amount of liquor was taken.

Anyone with information is asked to give Prince George RCMP or Crime Stoppers a call.
