A Prince George based physician who transformed health care in the region is being recognized for his accomplishments.
Doctor Garry Knoll, who implemented a renowned practice coaching program, and championed team-based care, is receiving the Quality Culture Trailblazer award from the BC Patient Safety and Quality Council.
Doctor Knoll has worked as a family physician for over 35 years and is currently President, Board Chair, and Lead Physician of the Prince George Division of Family Practice.
He will receive his award during a ceremony in Vancouver in February.
