The City of Prince Rupert is cleaning up after a major wind storm swept across the North Coast Tuesday.
Communications Manager Veronika Stewart says city crews have been out dealing with about 50 trees that were blown down.
Some of the trees toppled power lines, leaving close to 3000 Prince Rupert area residents in the dark for about 4 hours Tuesday night.
The City is asking residents to keep well clear of any tree clearing operations and to report any potentially hazardous trees that may need attention.
