The Prince Rupert RCMP detachment is trying to find out who’s been practicing their golf game near the BC Ferries terminal.
Mounties say someone drove golf balls onto the terminal grounds on May 28th and June 7th, nearly striking a worker.
Investigators think the balls may have come from the Graham Avenue area which overlooks the terminal, but inquiries in the neighbourhood failed to turn up any suspects.
Despite the strange nature of the complaint, RCMP says the activity could cause injury to people and damage to vehicles below.
Mounties are reaching out to the person or people involved and asking them to stop.
Police say damage to property or injuries could result in charges.
