Another agreement has been made as part of the provincial government’s Sustainable Services Negotiating Mandate.
This time more than 16 thousand employees within the Community Social Services Bargaining Association are covered by the multi-union ratified agreement.
Three collective agreements have been reached with the Employers’ Association of BC for Indigenous services, community living services, and general services.
The deal is a three year deal that will see annual 2 percent wage increases, strengthening of service continuity and access, improved health and safety outcomes, and 60 million dollars in funding to reduce wage gaps and turnover.
The government has now reached agreements with approximately 91 thousand employees under the Sustainable Service Negotiating Mandate.
