The province is releasing more funding to help solve the overdose crisis.
This is the second round of funding in the program and will see an additional 1.65 million dollars become available.
Grant applications for the money will be available until July 13th, with each successful applicant receiving 75 thousand from the fund.
Projects that focus on stronger treatment, innovative strategies, and engagement initiatives will be accepted from municipalities, Indigenous groups, an non-profit agencies.
The fund is part of 332 million dollars invested in solving the opioid crisis over the next 3 years by the government.
