By investing a further 10 million dollars in the Clean Energy Vehicle Program, the provincial government is ensuring BC can continue to lead the way in making roads greener.
With the highest per-capita electric vehicle adoption rate in Canada, point-of-sale incentives had been running out at a remarkable rate.
The fresh funding will go towards topping up the fund while the province develops a fresh clean-growth plan expected for later this year.
In total, BC paid out more than 14 hundred incentive applications between April and June, with June seeing electric vehicle market shares jump to 3.7 percent.
