Funding is in place for 42 Williams Lake residents for job training.
The province says $413,000 went to Thompson Rivers University and Northern Shuswap Tribal Council to deliver the programs.
Programs include school bus driving training which is now wrapped up.
The remainder of the money is going to the Northern Shuswap Tribal Council to give financial training to 30 Aboriginal participants. It’s expected to be completed in June.
Funding provided from both the federal and provincial government is given out to prepare residents for in demand jobs.
