Fifty experts from accross BC gathered in Quesnel last week to discuss the future of forestry in the north.
The Future of Forestry Think Tank session was put together by UNBC, CNC, and the City of Quesnel to explore the idea of using the city and surrounding forests to generate ideas on how to adapt forest management in BC.
Focusing on ways to reinvent and restructure the forestry industry with growing climate change concerns, the session discussed using Quesnel as a research and development hub.
