Residents in the Bella Coola region can expect heavy rain to hit the area Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for inland sections of the Central Coast as a moist Pacific front comes through.
Bella Coola can expect between 50 and 60 millimetres of rain before it tapers off Thursday afternoon.
Environment Canada says heavy downpours can cause flash floods, water pooling on roads, and localized flooding in low-lying areas.
