Fire officials are keeping a close watch on the weather as a wildfire raging southwest of Prince George remains just 15 per cent contained.
Information Officer Melissa Klassen says the Little Bobtail Lake fire is about 250 square kilometres in size after growing aggressively since it was reported a week and a half ago.
Klassen says temperatures have been cooler overnights and mornings but the area could be back into a warm and drying trend in the next couple days.
Lightning is expected elsewhere in the province later this week.
The RCMP is also asking for the public’s help in their investigation of this fire.
The origin of the fire has been discovered and officials suspect it was human-caused.
