The RCMP are encouraging the public to report drunk drivers after two were pulled off Terrace roads.
Mounties say they were called to the area of Kalum Street and Graham Avenue around 8 p.m. last Tuesday after reports of a hit and run into a parked vehicle.
Police located the suspect in his damaged vehicle shortly afterwards.
Police say the driver blew four times over the legal limit when tested.
In another incident, last Saturday a woman struck an oncoming police car at 11:00 p.m.
This driver blew three times over the legal limit.
Mounties say signs of impaired driving include driving unusually slowly, swerving, headlights off when it’s dark, or windshield wipers on when it’s not raining.
Anyone who believes they see an impaired driver is asked to call 911.
