RCMP say Terrace area drivers doing well in first big dose of winter

RCMP say drivers in the Terrace-area are doing well during the first big dose of winter.

Constable Angela Rabut says there’s only been a few accidents with no serious injuries reported.

Constable Rabut says most motorist have their winter tires on and are adjusting to the conditions.

She says it’s always important to give yourself extra time if you need to head out.

Constable Rabut says it’s also important to keep the windshield washer fluid topped up and keep the vehicle clean of built up snow and ice.

The RCMP are also reminding motorists to avoid hitting the roads unless it’s necessary.

Road conditions can be found on Drive BC’s website.
