A van which found its way in to the water near the confluence of the Skeena and Kalum Rivers this morning did so by accident, according to Terrace RCMP.
The van, which was unoccupied at the time, was reportedly parked near the edge of the river and ended up rolling in to the water at around 9:00 this morning.
With the help of Terrace Search and Rescue and the Fire Department, police were able to remove the vehicle from the water after about two hours on scene.
The van’s owner was present while the vehicle was extracted.
