Don’t expect to get off with a warning if you get pulled over by the Terrace RCMP for a traffic offence.
The detachment is targeting aggressive and poor driving habits over the next month with extra traffic enforcement.
Constable Angela Rabut says driving behaviour in the Terrace area is appalling and is putting people at risk
Rabut says police have responded to a number of close calls where pedestrians have nearly been hit by vehicles at marked crosswalks.
RCMP are finding that many new drivers are not displaying their “N” or “L” signs.
She says drivers not following the rules can expect to get a ticket.
