Terrace RCMP are warning residents about a number of online and phone scams making the rounds.
Police have received several complaints about fake revenue collection agencies demanding payments over the phone and online predators extorting people via social media.
Constable Crystal Evelyn says it’s a good reminder not to share any personal information, including initmate pictures, with people over the phone or social media.
Evelyn also says a legitimate collection agency will not ask for payment with Itunes cards.
