Repairs to the main power transmission line to Prince Rupert may soon be completed according to BC Hydro.
Dave Mosure, BC Hydro’s Northern Community Relations coordinator is hopeful repairs will be finished by Wednesday evening.
Mosure also noted that people have mentioned clocks have been running faster since switching over to the gas turbine to generate electricity.
While he doesn’t know exactly what’s causing clocks to run faster, he speculates it has something to do with the frequency of the electricty that is outputed.
Two transmission lines to Prince Rupert were knocked down a week ago by landslides.
