Residents gather in Terrace for Remembrance Day

Residents gathered in Terrace for Remembrance Day.

Dozens of people and organizations including the City of Terrace, RCMP, Terrace Fire Department, and families of soldiers who lost their lives took part in the wreath laying in memory of the men and women who served, are serving, and gave their lives for Canada.

The residents who gathered also took part in a moment of silence at 11:00 a.m.

According to Veterans Affairs Canada, 115,816 people gave their lives during the South African War, First World War, Second World War, and the Korean War.
