The CIHL Playoffs have come to a close.
The Terrace River Kings are the CIHL Champions, after sweeping the Williams Lake Stampeders Saturday.
The start wasn’t the best for the River Kings, they were down 2-0 in the first. Terrace did tie the game 2-2 later in the period.
Williams Lake’s Kaleb Boyle scored the only goal in the second period, and the Stampeders went into the third period with the lead.
Terrace erased that lead early in the third. The River Kings scored a
power play goal with 41 seconds left, and would hold down the fort to take the championship.
These teams will see each other again in the Coy Cup Senior Men’s ‘AA’ Provincial Championship. The Coy Cup willbe in Williams Lake from March 27-31.
