The time for celebration is over, according to Skeena MLA Ellis Ross, who says businesses need to start hustling now to see the benefit of the LNG boom.
Ross made the comments at an LNG Celebration in Terrace tonight which saw him express both joy and relief over LNG Canada’s Final Investment Decision.
Earlier in the speech, Ross stressed the need for the entire region to come together to ensure the success of LNG in Kitimat.
The MLA closed by saying he’s seen hundreds of large projects fail in the region over the years and it’s time to get to work now to ensure a different path for LNG.
