Some Prince Rupert residents appear to be eager to use the Rushbrook Trail, but the city is reminding people that the path is still closed.
Officials say the trail renewal project is getting close to completion, but construction is still continuing which means it’s not safe to use.
The city says using the trail puts undue risk on contractors and pedestrians, so it’s asking residents to wait until the project is complete.
There will be an official opening once the project is ready for use.
