Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation Scott Fraser has issued a public statement condemning a recent occurance of racist vandalism in Kamloops.
The vandalism in question appeared on signs on Secwépemc Nation territory just outside a Grasslands Protected mushroom picking area.
Fraser says that they are committed to fighting all forms of racism and bigotry, and that it will not be tolerated and does not reflect who they are.
He is asking all British Columbians to work together to fight racism.
