The search for a missing Prince George woman has been suspended until further notice

The search for missing Jenny Larocque has been suspended until further information or evidence comes to light.

Larocque is a Prince George resident but was last seen in Williams Lake on September 27th, she has a vehicle and may have been on route to Hope or Chilliwack to visit family.

On Sunday, October 15th, 2017, RCMP were notified that Jenny`s Great Dane/Brindle Mastiff dog was located in the Venables Valley area, south of Ashcroft, BC.

The dog had suffered minor injuries but was otherwise in good health.

On Monday, October 16th an RCMP helicopter and a Police dog service team attended the area and began searching.

Larocque’s 2014 Jeep Compass was located later that day stuck on a rural road, Jenny was not located… The search continued for a few more days without success.

The RCMP would like to thank the Kamloops Search & Rescue Society and their volunteers for assisting in the search.

Larocque is described as a Caucasian female standing at 5 foot 3, green eyes and brown hair.

Investigators have no reason to believe that Larocque has been the victim of foul play.

If you have any information about Jennifer Jenny Lynn Larocque or where she might be, please contact the Prince George RCMP at (250) 561-3300
