A Vanderhoof resident could be facing criminal charges after police and Conservation Officers searched a home Tuesday.
RCMP assisted Conservation Officers as they conducted a search warrant related to the possible possession of wild meat hunted out of season.
Officers found more than they bargained for and police say charges of possession of prohibited weapons and possession of stolen property area possible as a result of the search.
North District RCMP says the investigation is continuing.
