British Columbia’s newly formed select standing committe on agriculture, fish, and food has now set their public consultation dates.
Its first series of consultations will focus on meat production and inspection in the province.
The committee is looking to collect recommendations and information from farmers, producers, processors, restaurant workers, and consumers on how to improve upon the current system.
You can have your voice heard by presenting at a public meeting, sending in a video, or sending written suggestions.
Meetings will open up in Dawson Creek on June 4th, but will be in Terrace and Prince George on June 5th, and Haida Gwaii on June 6th.
