Sentencing has been delayed for a Terrace man who was convicted of second degree murder of CJ Fowler, his then 16 year old girlfriend.
Damien Taylor was convicted last October.
During the trial, court heard that Taylor and Fowler, originally from the Gitanmaax Band, had travelled to Terrace from Kamloops to sell drugs and had used crystal meth in the week leading up to the December, 2012 murder.
Despite a four month wait, sentencing has been delayed because a Gladue report has yet to be completed.
A Gladue report takes into account an offenders Aboriginal background when it comes to sentencing and restorative justice.
A report update is set for March 9th.
