A string of gun thefts in Prince George has RCMP reminding the public not to leave firearms in their vehicles.
Since October 8th, police have received four separate reports of firearms being stolen from vehicles parked at or near hotels.
In total, 8 guns have been stolen across the thefts, which appear to be targeting hunters.
All of the incidents occurred at night and across multiple different hotels.
Police would like to remind residents not to leave firearms unattended in their vehicles and to take their firearms in to their hotel rooms with them at night.
