Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, dime to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
Radar indicates that a severe thunderstorm is developing about 20 km west northwest of Quesnel and moving northeast towards Highway 97 near Cinema.
Heavy rain, dime to nickel size hail and strong gusty winds are expected with the thunderstorm.
Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
Fast moving water across a road can sweep a vehicle away.
Large hail can damage property and cause injury.
Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.

There’s also another severe thunderstorm warning for Prince George, northern Cariboo and eastern sections of Bulkley Valley near Fort St James, with much of the same weather expected in those areas.
