Six arrests made in Dawson Creek shooting probe

Dawson Creek RCMP say six arrests have now been made since the kidnapping and shooting of a man last month.

A 30 year-old woman and a 24 year-old man were the latest to be taken into custody Sunday when police searched a rural property outside Dawson Creek.

RCMP discovered a significant number of firearms, a large amount of ammunition, and a small amount of cocaine.

Four people have already been charged with multiple offences.

The investigation began after a 26 year-old man was abducted, taken to a gravel pit, and shot several times it what RCMP believe is an ongoing drug war.

The victim of the shooting is continuing to recover.
